Great Rocket

This is a good looking rocket that goes together well. Looks just like a D-Region should It is a straight and stable flyer.

A Great Bridge to Mid Power

The D-Region Tomahawk is an excellent bridge kit that extends into mid-power rocketry, opening options for larger, heavier, and higher performance model rocketry. Though the kit features plastic fins, the ease of assembly ensures you'll be flying quickly, enjoying the exhilaration of flight while not being bogged down in the minutia of assembly.

Nice Kit

The 1.8" diameter makes this a robust design that is sure to be noticed on the launch field. The plastic parts - tail shroud, nose section, and fins, are top quality. The pieces are well molded, with crisp details. The pieces fit together well, and they do not have heavy mold seams. Construction is quick. My only criticism is that the body tubes in my kit did not have a smooth coating - they were "fuzzy". I've had this happen with a couple of other kits over the years and it can be fixed with a couple of coats of primer and some sanding. Overall, however, this is a minor point regarding an outstanding kit. While the nylon parachute provided with the kit is nice, this rocket almost screams for the new rip-stop nylon printed parachutes.
