Interesting product…

I got the full kit but did not receive the warranty label. When I build it, everything is fine. I wait 2 weeks and finally get to launch it. Twice. After that I got busy dealing with something else. After that, the launch pad rod bent along the connector pins. I noticed that the standoff had sheared, the block that held the rod had broken, and the rod had unnoticed damage beforehand. The controller and rocket are fine though.

Nice Rocket Kit for STEM Learning

This rocket kit is perfect for teaching STEM-based education on science. My grandkids and I enjoy launching and retrieving the rocket. The safety feature of the launcher is a plus. Only complaint is that the body section that connects to the node is somewhat flimsy and could be damaged.

Great starter set - good price,

The rocket assembly is very easy since the fins and engine compartment are all plastic and fit together with just a touch of glue - So the fins will align perfectly, unlike the more traditional balsa wood fins.

The only negative is that the metal rod on the launch pad is very easy to bend at the connection points, so be careful there. Otherwise the launch pad is pretty standard and simple to setup. Double-check you are using good, new batteries.

Used C6-7 engines which made this puppy fly super HIGH! So if this is your first rocket I would recommend either A or B engines if you are launching at the neighborhood park otherwise you can easily lose this in someone's backyard as it parachutes down and drifts in a slight breeze.

This was a present for my 11 year-old son to get him off the video game, get outside and building things (which he loves when given the opportunity). Good father-son project for us since I used to build and launch these rockets when I was a kid.
