Awesome 1st flight on C11-3

Very scale looking and flying. C11 perfect 1st flight on our field size. Beefy build but lightweight. Highly recommend.

I started with the basic kit and customized it to

I started with the basic kit and customized it to fly 24mm AP motors. So - built an extended motor mount to put all the fins thru the body tube, adding a Kevlar shock cord to it, duplicated the fins so as to add a tab for thru the body tube. Had to change the nose cone to my longest BT-60 spare to reduce the needed added weight - It still took a lot of weight at the tip of that long nose cone to get the CG 2" forward of the CP with the heaviest possible engine!
Painted it red, black and metallic silver and put rail guides on it. Has to be the smallest rocket using rail guides in all our club. Looks out of place on an 8' rail, BUT it sure takes off with authority and makes it's presences known with an F44!!!
I was impressed you could do so much starting with just this basic kit.
