Saturn V Nose Cone Assembly (2160)

I like having the extra nose cone for the RTF Saturn V, that way I have one for launching and one for displaying. After a few launches the original nose cone spike broke off when the shock cord wrapped around the fins and didn’t fully deploy, resulting in lawn dart on a hard-packed farm field. I will say the tough ol’ rocket survived the hard hit well and was able to fly again after a bit of gluing. But this way I have a used nose for flight and a clean nose for displaying. It looks great next to my SLS and Blue Origin’s New Shepard! What’s next Estes, the Ariane? 🙂
