Flew great and looked amazing! This model looks nice on a shelf, and even nicer on the launch pad. I was honestly scared to launch it because I was worried the glider would get lost but it ended up gliding in a circle perfectly down almost exactly to the launch pad. The boosters and external fuel tank also landed close by on the parachute and everything was in perfect shape.

For getting the glider to glide right I just ended up filling pretty much the entire nose cavity with the included clay and tested it by tossing it down a hill in my backyard until it didn’t stall or nosedive. Overall for a flying brick with wings I think it does alright lol.

I haven't unboxed the space shuttle yet, but knowing from my past experience it will be fantastic and of very high quality. So, here's the scoop. I'm 62 now, I started building rockets in about 1972 or 74. My first rocket was called a "Sky Hook.," From there I built a number other rockets. One of the most memorable ones was a two stage rocket called the Omega with the blue and black tail fin decals. That rocket was awesome and I wish Estes would bring it back. When I was in sixth grade we had rocketry class, which would now probably be classified as "STEAM." I renumber one of my classmate built a huge rocket called the "Andromeda." That would probably classify as a level five now. It was a great launch. I had a lot of rockets over the years with all sizes of power cells. I lost touch with rockets once I entered the working world. I got into computing in the early 80's, which let me into a 25 year career with the Boeing Aerospace Company. I took early retirement in 2022 and walked over to Alaska Airline and got the job I wanted my whole life, until I developed bone infection in both feet. I think instead of foam you should use plastic or something more solid because the foam is incredible easy to break. The tail fin broke within 10 seconds of unboxing.
