I used these to introduce my 10 year old grandson to model rocketry. then we went to a Big Bertha. Now we are building a 2 stage for a goal of 2600 feet.

Rockets are fine - shipping is excessive

It would be nice if shipping was not so outrageously high relative to the size and weight of the things ordered from Estes. The rockets are otherwise fine and what are needed for some special effects. We use them as proxies for military rockets fired from a converted (but otherwise non-functional) M-72A1 LAWS rocket launcher from the Vietnam war. It's a staple bad guy weapon from every 1980s action movie 😀
