This is a very good rocket set, bought them for a 8 year old he enjoyed assembling them , needed a little help on shock cord . He really enjoyed launching and observing flight, highly recommend

Great choice for kids. My wife got this for for Father's Day to do with my daughter and we had a good time putting them together. Very basic construction but room for creativity with the stickers. Flights go well but, as others have noted, 6" chutes don't deploy particularly well. You could make your life easier by switching to streamers or just forget about it entirely. They're light enough to survive without a recovery system at all.
