I like how you can use either C size batteries or a lipo battery. I am also a fan of the audible continuity.

Worth every dollar. I used that start one for so

Worth every dollar. I used that start one for so long and this one is just a real professional item. It has a JST for a lipo battery! It makes a "beep" when its armed! The quality of the wires are much better. You can launch multiple rockets!

Great design and worked well for a while. Poor quality

Great design and worked well for a while. Poor quality manufacturing led to premature failure for what is a relatively high-cost device. Audible signal failed after only a couple of launches and key contacts failed after about 15. Opening it up to see why revealed 2 failed poor solder joints on the single board were the cause. Three additional poor solder joints would have led to additional future failures. Had to use jumper wires to repair as the solder joints were so bad that the board was damaged underneath. The audio component is available relatively cheaply from various online sources, but it isn't really necessary.
Better quality control on Estes Chinese manufacturing should be implemented...
