Excellent looking and fun to create

I haven't had a chance to fire it off yet but making it was fun fun fun. I commend Estes on the design and creativity in this two-stage rocket; a real improvement over the old 3-stagers of 60 years ago, for sure!

Skill level rating.

I believe this rocket should be rated skill level Master. This is because it is a two stage "F" powered rocket. One needs to have prior experience flying two stage "E" and single stage "F", to have any decent chance of successfully flying this rocket. Any tips on how to avoid the second stage failure that the other two review submitters have observed?

Why balsa fins

It must be the weight of the rocket demands the use of lightweight balsa. If the fins were plywood or basswood they would be much sturdier but heavier. Do you believe the first stage booster with a spent F15 engine can hit the ground without sustaining damage to the balsa fins? I believe every time someone flys this as a two stage it will need repair before a second flight
