The overall impression is this is a very clean looking design that uses a BT-60 airframe with a BT-65-size payload section. Construction is straightforward but challenging because it is a two-stage rocket with balsa fins. The booster employs through-the-wall fin attachment, and the fin slots are pre-cut in the body tube. The need for providing clearance for the stage coupler and engine mount rings on the second stage means this system of attachment is not possible. The balsa on mine was top quality and the fins were cleanly cut out. The engine mount tubes were slightly heavier than a standard BT-50, which is a plus for durability. This model comes with water-slide decals which I prefer over vinyl stick-on markings.
